HANOVER, PA (Oct. 25) - Shark Racing welcomes L&M Tire & Wheel to our team as we close out 2021 and move forward towards the 2022 World of Outlaws season. We have been fortunate to have a number of central Pennsylvania businesses align with us during the first 10 years of racing, and L&M Tire & Wheel, the leading tire, wheel, and accessory seller and installer based in Abbottstown is the latest.
“We are excited to align with L&M Tire & Wheel,” said Bobby Allen, Shark Racing team owner. “I’ve said it since I started doing this that it takes a lot of people to compete with the best. We are a family business and L&M is a family business as well. I loved meeting (L&M owner) Jake (Miller) and his father at the National Open. They are excited about working with us and just as we are looking forward to working to help them to help their business.”
“L&M Tire & Wheel is well known in this area for quality service and being the best in the tire business,” said Logan Schuchart, driver of the Shark Racing Drydene No. 1s. “Jake and his staff do a great job and they have some big things coming up. Last year, I outfitted my truck with wheels and tires at L&M and know my dad just upgraded his too. They have a lot of passion for their business, industry and customers and really believe in Sprint car racing as a place to reach their customers.”
The partnership began earlier this month during the Williams Grove National Open weekend where Schuchart was a big part of the story both nights of action. He is looking to conclude his eighth season of competition with the World of Outlaws in winning fashion, currently ranking fifth in the standings on the strength of six series wins. The team has four nights of WoO action including a doubleheader this weekend in Oklahoma and Texas before concluding with the NGK/NTK World Finals in Charlotte, Nov. 4-6. Schuchart and his Shark Racing teammate Jacob Allen are scheduled to close the 2021 campaign locally at BAPS Motor Speedway, Nov. 13.
