HANOVER, PA - Logan Schuchart and his Shark Racing team announce today their 2025 racing plans to include a 12th consecutive season of competition with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series with their partners Drydene, DuraMAX, Federated Auto Parts and C&D Rigging all returning to the Shark Racing No. 1s.
“We’re looking forward to another great year of racing and can’t wait to get started in Volusia,” said Schuchart. “It takes so many people to make this all happen and I’m fortunate to be surrounded by so many. We’ve worked extremely hard the past 11 years to be out here racing with the best Sprint car drivers in the world on a nightly basis chasing our dreams. It’s special to continue doing it with our longtime marketing partners - Drydene, DuraMAX, C&D Rigging and Federated Auto Parts - and all the manufacturers we work with. We can’t wait to get to Volusia in February.”
PARTNERSHIPS CONTINUE WITH DRYDENE, DURAMAX, FEDERATED & C&D
This season will mark the eighth year together for Schuchart and Drydene, the hardest working brand in heavy-duty lubrication. For the fourth season, DuraMAX Motor Oil, which offers full synthetic, synthetic blend, and high mileage motor oils, will also be behind the Shark Racing No. 1s.
C&D Rigging, the renowned millwrighting company offering custom millwrighting and mechanical erection of machinery and heavy equipment begins its sixth season backing Schuchart.
The grandson of National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Shark Racing team owner Bobby Allen will open season three with Federated Auto Parts racing the Federated schemed 1s in the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park February 5-8.
The team is pleased announce the addition of Mark Martin Motors as associate partners for Logan and the 1s in 2025. The Lancaster, PA based dealership is a family-owned and operated business offering a terrific selection of vehicles and service center.
Schuchart will continue being powered by Newman’s Racing Engines aboard his Triple X No. 1s. Smith Ti, DMI Components, Factory Kahne Shocks, Sander Wheels, Wing Dynamics and parts from Walker Filtration, All-Pro Cylinder Heads, SRI, Total Seal, System 1, Engler Injection, Brodix, Brown & Miller, BAM Lifters, Moose and PRIME Composites continue to be part of the program.
“I’ve said it before and it’s worth repeating, I work with the best manufacturers in the business,” continued Schuchart. “My grandfather started this team and built these relationships. We’ve been able to grow our program to one of the best in motorsports and we’re looking forward to a very successful 2025 and beyond.”
TEAM BUILDING
Chasing greatness in the World of Outlaws is the goal for every Sprint car team and it takes an army of people to compete at the highest level. The guys out on the road are crucial to success. For the past two seasons, Lonnie Judy has served as crew chief on the Shark Racing 1s with Brendan Collum as the car chief. Judy has decided to focus on his family in Delaware in 2025.
Shark Racing has hired veteran crew chief Kyle Pruitt to join the 1s team. Pruitt, a former driver that competed against Schuchartduring his 358 days, has worked with a number of teams the past few years including RJ Jacobs, Kyle Moody Motorsports and McCandless Motorsports.
“Having a great team starts with the people you surround yourself with,” said Schuchart. “One of the toughest parts about this business is building a team of people that you are with basically 24/7. Change isn’t easy, but sometimes its necessary. We can’t thank Lonnie Judy enough for everything he’s done for me and this team the past two years. He taught me a lot and help lead this team to some historical results. Brendan has been an invaluable part of Shark Racing and continues to grow each year and that will continue next year. Kyle came to us highly recommended, and we have already hit the ground running together.”
